Patient Information
To arrange an ultrasound at City Imaging - Ultrasound for Women, you need to:
- Have a referral from your GP or obstetrician
- Make an appointment on 9650 8833
- Bring your referral with you to your appointment
The ultrasound findings will be explained to you during or immediately after the scan. The doctor is able to answer any questions you may have and will contact your doctor immediately where appropriate or necessary. A report is sent by mail to your referring doctor on the day of your ultrasound.
Payment is preferred on the day of the scan via cash, cheque, EFPTOS or credit card. Most patients with a valid referral are eligible for a Medicare rebate. Our fees vary depending on the type of ultrasound and on how advanced you are in the pregnancy. They are outlined below for the different ultrasound examinations.
